This book focuses on piano chamber music, taking classic ensemble works for piano with strings and winds as its core subject. Structured around an introduction and five main chapters, it covers Baroque keyboard chamber music as well as Classical, Romantic, nationalist, and twentieth-century piano chamber music, tracing a clear line of development through in-depth analyses of representative works from each period.
